Replication And Policy Influence
A firm believer of NGO-NGO collaborations, SRIJAN is part of many CSO platforms like Bundelkhand Sustainable Development Forum (BSDF) and Madhya Pradesh Sustainable Development Initiative (MP-SDI). SRIJAN also promoted forum named Rajasthan Nari Shakti Sangathan (RNSS) in Rajasthan and promoted strong national platforms like Women’s Federation of India. Through this NGO-NGO partnership, SRIJAN promotes policy influence through various platforms it is part of- Advisory Council of Ministry of Rural Development, MGNREGA manual of Ministry of Rural Development, Human Resource Strategies and Policies to National Advisory Council, HR Strategies for National Rural Livelihood Mission.
Through mobilisation pf Panchayati Raj Institutions at the grassroots level, SRIJAN fosters strategy of building strong relationship with government functionaries. District level interactions field visits from CEO-Zila Panchayats and District Collector, are key components of SRIJAN’s working model for replication and policy influence. Inviting state rural livelihood mission’s senior dignitaries and holding meetings with Secretaries of various ministries helps design more contextual interventions for small marginal families.
